Prediction

A consequence that should show up if a hypothesis is on the right track.

Predictions are how this archive tries to keep original ideas honest. A useful prediction is specific enough that a later observation could embarrass it. Vague forecasts do not count. Philosophical entries may have only weak predictions, and should say so.
